Each Fastrax IT GPS receiver is available on an Application Board in order to make evaluation of the GPS receiver easier. The Application Boards are used together with either Fastrax Mini Evaluation Kit or with Fastrax Evaluation Kit. |

Fastrax has developed Application Boards for all Fastrax IT(nn) modules and for the UP500 GPS antenna module in order to make evaluation easier. Fastrax UP300 can be connected directly to Mini Evaluation kit, an application board is not necessary. The Application Boards are connected to the Fastrax Evaluation kit or the Fastrax Mini Evaluation kit with the on-board 40 pin system connector. The application boards are also equipped with a MCX antenna connector for the external active antenna.
Each Application Board is also a reference design for its appropriate Fastrax IT(nn) module and therefore each BoM and design layouts are described in detail in the Technical Interface Description of each module.
